Obama campaign to open Sitka office?

SITKA, ALASKA Presidential politics have arrived in Sitka.
Staff and volunteers for the Obama campaign last week canvassed over 5-hundred homes in the community.
Statewide campaign officials were unwilling to announce whether the canvassing effort signaled that Sitka would be the site of the next Obama office in Alaska, but it appears likely that one will open here – a definite first for the town.
