Celebrating Sitka's "culture of baseball"

SITKA, ALASKA Sitka celebrated its “culture of baseball” last night (Tue 8-25-09).
The Sitka assembly recognized the achievements of both the Little League’s major league all-star team, and the senior league all-star team, in winning their respective Alaska State championships.
And while they won’t be going to the Little League World Series, the Sitka teams still have plenty to brag about.
