Melissa Hantke, co-choreographer and stage manager, and dancers Ben Gordon and Ruby Gale, discuss some of the Alaskan twists in this year’s Nutcracker. The ballet will be staged 7 PM Fri Dec 2, 2 PM and 7 PM Sat Dec 3, and 3 PM Sun Dec 4 at the Sitka Performing Arts Center.
