Sitka, Mt. Edgecumbe to meet in rematch for conference title

The Sitka Wolves earned a re-match with the Mt. Edgecumbe Braves Friday, with the 3A Region V Basketball championship on the line. The Sitka Lady Wolves eliminated the Mt. Edgecumbe Lady Braves Thursday, and will challenge Petersburg for the title. more

Campbell brings pen and ink art to schools

Taking pen and ink to paper, artist Norm Campbell brings Alaska's natural world to life. Campbell recently completed a two week class at Keet Gooshi Heen Elementary School on the art of "invented landscapes." His class is a part of the Sitka Fine Arts Camp's "Artists in the Schools" residencies. more
