After tough auditions, three SHS students shine at music conference

From February 13 - February 15, 2015, music director Sarah Martensen brought students from Sitka High School to the NAfME Biennial Northwest Division Conference in Spokane, Washington. Blankenship: Ocean Wave to auction quilts for scholarships

Annette Blankenship and Megan Pasternak of the Ocean Wave Quilters Guild talk about this year's quilt auction (3-3-15). This annual silent and outcry mini quilt auction supports college scholarships for Sitka students. So far, 20 miniature quilts and 5 large quilt tops are expected to be auctioned.
