Sitka Fine Arts Camp musicians stopped by Ted Howard’s Good Day Radio Show to preview tunes they will perform at Saturday night’s “afterparty” at 10pm in the Allen Auditorium. City to buy emergency transformer for Medvejie Hatchery

The Sitka Assembly permitted the city to sell an unusable transformer at the Medvejie Hatchery. The transformer, which was intended to replace 35-year-old units, has a fatal design flaw and can't be used. At the same time, they authorized staff to purchase a new transformer for immediate installation. more
