Sitka firefighters practiced deploying the department's ladder truck along Lincoln Street on Wednesday evening. The ladder sometimes has to reach tricky places. Aufrichtig: Blurring the lines between music, poetry, theater

Richard Aufrichtig is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Brooklyn, NY. He traces his musical roots to traditional American songwriting, with a modern instrumental sensibility. While he's produced several albums, including the soon-to-be-released Ocean Music, he's also a published poet and playwright. Aufrichtig is on of six Fellows in Sitka for seven weeks. more
