Bill Thomas has been in the State House for years, representing Haines and other small communities. The redrawing of district boundaries means that Thomas will represent Sitka, if we voters send him back to the Legislature. I do not think we should do that.

Family and friends are now offering $5,000 for anyone who can lead them to her location. The 33-year-old mother of two went missing from Sitka about two weeks ago. Her family last reported seeing her on Oct. 14.
