Young performers find depth in ‘A Night of One Acts’

Zeke Blackwell is the director of the Young Performers Theater at the Sitka Fine Arts Camp. YPT will stage four one-act plays 7 PM Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29, at 2 PM and 7 PM at the Odess Theater ($10/$5 students and seniors). One of the plays, Echoes by Seattle playwright Michael Yichao, will be a world premiere. The others are The Big Picture, The Guppy Ballet, and Piglet (a barnyard parody of Hamlet). Residents past HPR’s 4000-block advised to boil water
