Sitka High’s Jon De La Cruz (Sr.) may be the basketball team’s only senior, but his coach, Andy Lee, calls him “the bridge man” who has held the team together since his sophomore year. The pair discuss the remaining 3A conference schedule (against Mt. Edgecumbe) and this weekend’s matchup against state 3A powerhouse ACS. With KCAW’s Brian Hanson.

‘DUCKumentary’ kicks off park’s environmental film series

Sitka National Historical Park ranger Ryan Carpenter, the Sitka Conservation Society's Mary Wood, and the Sitka Sound Science Center's Ashley Bolwerk are collaborating on a winter film series at the park. The first screening, DUCKumentary, is tonight (7 PM Wed Jan 28 and 2 PM Sat Jan 31, SNHP theater, free admission).
