Fine Arts Camp instructors Kamili Feelings (playwright/clowning) and Tully McLoughlin (partner acrobatics/juggling) talk about the development of their middle school students over the past two weeks, and outline the schedule for final performances this Thursday and Friday (all performances 7 PM at the Sitka Performing Arts Center, except Visual Arts 1-4 PM Fri Jun 28 at SJ Fine Arts Campus).

Ferry fares rise for third time in a year

Assembly considers opening boats to tourists

On Tuesday night (4-26-16), the Assembly considered allowing rentals, on a conditional use basis, in Sitka’s municipal harbors and slips. They also received an update on branding for tourists and firmed up zoning laws for marijuana business. more
