ATIA conference will be Sitka’s largest-ever

Tonia Rioux, executive director of the Sitka Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, says this October’s meeting of the Alaska Travel Industry Association could be Sitka’s largest-ever conference. Floor sessions exceed the capacity of Harrigan Centennial Hall, and will be held in the Hames Center. Local volunteers are needed. Call the SCVB at 747-5940 to help. Sitka herring forecast lowest in a decade
