UAS associate professor Kitty LaBounty and Mt. Edgecumbe students Terrell Jones (Sr-Deering) and Shanelle Afcan (Sr-Nunam Iqua), and Sitka High’s Misha Bekeris, discuss the projects they presented at the Alaska Science and Engineering Fair. Bekeris’s project on nutrient fluxes in the Indian River was a finalist for the Grand Prize. The public can view the projects Monday evening, April 28, at UAS Sitka.
