The Sitka Fine Arts Camp Jazz Combo class stopped by the station during Straight No Chaser. Who knew we could squeeze that many students into the air room! They played a few tunes, and sounded fantastic. Members of the Seattle Firefighters Pipes & Drums perform in the Cable House Monday afternoon (10-16-12), setting the tone for this week's Alaska Day Festival in Sitka. KCAW put the impromptu concert live on the air, thanks to a new downstairs broadcast studio.
