Stefanie Ask (center) and Jeff Seifert weave a tangled web of deceit in the 1947 radio drama “Always Room at the Top” at the Sitka Performing Arts Center on Friday (11-18-11). Mary Beth Palof (left) was one of three sound effects technicians who generated a slew of noises from a music box to gunshots and falling bodies. Three short pieces by playwright and former Sitkan John Longenbaugh were also performed by the 19-member ensemble. The performance will be broadcast over KCAW at 7PM on Sunday, December 18.
