Ketchikan artist and musician Ray Troll is a Guggenheim Fellow. His new book will be called “Cruising the Eternal Coastline.” Troll will be performing with Sitka musicians under the name “The Ratfish Wranglers” 7 PM tonight (Fri 3-9-12) at the Sheet’ka Kwaán Naa Kahídi, talking about palenontology and ichthyology, and discussing his fishy art. It’s reportedly “more fun than a bucket of eels.” With the Greater Sitka Arts Council’s Jeff Budd and KCAW’s Robert Woolsey.
Troll’s music video, “Cannery Girl,” hasn’t exactly gone viral yet, but he says if it reaches 20,000 views, he’ll throw a party.
