Zuill Bailey, artistic director for the Sitka Summer Music Festival and violist Martin Sher joined us in the studio. Sher will be performing in several festival concerts this week.
Pianist Lorraine Min and Bailey will perform 6:30 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, June 15), at the Sitka Hotel in a free Cafe Concert.
Thursday at noon, Min and Terence Tam will perform pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Bartok and Ysaye at the Odess Theater. The final concerts of the Sitka Summer Music Festival are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available at Old Harbor Books.
