Renovations at Sitka’s airport are well underway, with a targeted completion date of June 2026. Municipal Administrator John Leach joined the Morning Interview to discuss the airport expansion project and what Sitkans can expect when it’s complete.
On Saturday, Aug. 16 at 3 p.m. there will be an open house and escalator ribbon cutting at the airport.
