Sitka school board addresses alleged bus assault

The board asked Supt. Steve Bradshaw to make sure bus drivers are clear that they need to keep older and younger students separated. They also asked building principals to check buses when they arrive to ensure that the separation is happening.

Canadian aircraft, crews flying in Sitka skies this week

The aircraft from Vancouver Island, along with the U.S. Coast Guard’s MH-60T helicopter managed to get up in the air for a little while on Thursday. But as the snowflakes moved in and visibility moved out, they returned to the Air Station Sitka and put the training on hold.
