Tlingit artist takes new apprentice under wing

Sitka artist Nicholas Galanin was chosen as a Mentor Artist by the Native Arts and Culture Foundation, to transfer techniques in Tlingit metalsmithing to his apprentice, Samuel Paul Sheakley over the course of the next year.
