Sitka businessman Rob Allen has been offered the job of interim CEO of Sitka Community Hospital. Allen, who currently lives in Deerfield, Massachusetts, is still considering the offer. He originally applied for the position when it became open last summer, and was the second choice behind Jeff Comer.

Stevenson Hall, as it appears in the Historic American Building Survey.[/caption]Kayla Boettcher, executive director of the Sitka Summer Music Festival, reports on her organization's receipt of a $260,000 grant from the Murdock Charitable Trust, which will allow for the purchase of the festival's headquarters at Stevenson Hall. The Murdock Trust, plus a number of individual funders, contributed a total of $530,000 in capital funding, some of which will be used toward repairs of the historic building.Downloadable audio.
