Alaska’s over-the-air messages give public radio a personal touch
While not strictly legal, "Muskeg Messages," "Caribou Clatter," and like forms of personal messaging have been commonplace on Alaska's public radio stations for decades. A handshake agreement by a key US Senator made this unique form of communication possible.
