In 2013, Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins went to Juneau as a 23-year-old novice lawmaker. He returned last week, at the end of his freshman term, as the sponsor of a successful Native languages bill that got national attention. Kreiss-Tomkins is up for reelection in November. He stopped by KCAW to discuss his summer plans, the virtues of sometimes doing nothing, and how to cope with Juneau when you’re a freshman in the minority. Read More
