Kayaker killed in accidental shooting
A Sitka woman was killed Sunday morning when her rifle accidentally discharged. 31-year old Amber Peterson was kayaking over the weekend with her brother, en route from Sitka to Goddard Hot Springs, when they ducked into Samsing Cove on Saturday to wait out the weather.
