Judge rules mistrial for Sitka doctor accused of sexual assault. New trial to be scheduled later this year
Sitka Superior Court Judge Jude Pate made the ruling Wednesday morning (7-6-22), on the second day of jury selection, after it became clear that there would be too few jurors left, once both parties had exercised their right to "peremtory challenge," and dismissed up to 11 jurors each.
