Sitkans gather for Orthodox Christmas
Shortly after the sun rose yesterday (01-07-15) morning, members of St. Michael’s Cathedral in Sitka gathered to celebrate Christmas. In keeping with the Julian calendar, Orthodox Christians around the world will celebrate twelve days of festivities with prayer, presents, and of course, song.
