Chef merges Native traditions with contemporary cuisine

As part of his tour through Southeast earlier this spring, Chef Rob Kinneen stopped in at Sitka’s Mt. Edgecumbe High School and taught a cooking class. Although Kinneen is a Tlingit, with roots in Petersburg, Sitka, and Metlakatla, he is a ready hand with delicacies from other regions, including muktuk sushi. Mt.
