Rural doctors use video conferencing to keep practice fresh

Dr. Brian Wood is an assistant professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and the medical director for a telehealth project called ECHO (Extension for Community Health Outcomes). Dr. Wood was joined by Dr. Irbert Vega, who has participated in ECHO's session for HIV medicine for the past six months. Dr. Vega is a family medicine doctor at Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium and talks about how joining ECHO has helped him treat HIV patients in Sitka. Downloadable audio. Read More
