Grammy-winning violinist joins Sitka Jazz Fest

Violinist Mads Tolling is in town for the Sitka Jazz Fest, which runs February 5 - 7th and features concerts with guest musicians and local jazz groups alike. Tolling grew up in Denmark and discovered jazz as a teenager. His rose to prominence with the adventurous Turtle Island String Quartet, which won two Grammy awards for Best Classical Crossover Album. Tolling will be performing Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm at the Performing Arts Center. Downloadable audio. Read More
