With one notable exception, Sitka nonprofits score local grant funds
The Sitka Assembly Thursday night (9-21-18) passed out $45,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations -- but not to the Sitka Community Land Trust. The affordable housing group failed to win monetary support from at least four of Sitka's seven assembly members, which sank its application.
