Two injured in vehicle rollover
Two males were transported to Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center early Thursday (6-29-23) after their vehicle rolled over in the overflow parking lot of the Old Sitka Boat Launch. Police are investigating.

Sitka’s state parks to close without ‘creative’ management
In Sitka, the state Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation is preparing to close Castle Hill, Halibut Point Recreation Area, and the Old Sitka boat launch on July 1 if no other entity can be found to run them.
