Raptor Center says goodbye to iconic eagle
The Alaska Raptor Center lost one of its famed and feathered ambassadors last month. HALi, a bald eagle, died in early December, due to health reasons. She was around 6 years old.

New raptor center director takes flight
Peter Colson is the new director of the Alaska Raptor Rehabilitation Center. He's back in Sitka for the third time and this go around he plans on staying. Colson used to follow raptors around the nation and he's passionate about birds. He has a plan to make the center into a global attraction. He replaces Debbie Reeder, who served 13 years.
