NTSB points to navigation, communication in Sitka cruise ship mishap

Miscommunication and an out-of-date navigational chart were both found to be factors when a Royal Caribbean cruise ship slammed into the dock at the Sitka Sound Cruise Terminal last summer. Royal Carribean's Brilliance of the Seas was formally welcomed to Sitka on Tuesday (5-2-23) by Deputy Mayor Kevin Mosher and Tribal representative Yeílsú Harry Lysons.
