Glacier Bay National Park acquires ancestral site of Hoonah’s Tlingit, promises ‘forever’ access to tribe
The 150-acre parcel was owned by the St. Claire family which listed the land for $1.7 million. An agreement has added it to the national park - keeping it out of the hands of developers - while preserving special rights for Hoonah's Tlingit tribe.
