Valentines Day 2025 Giveaway Rules

All KCAW Sustaining Members as of February 14th, 2025 will be entered into a drawing to receive a one year New York Times Games subscription.

HOW TO ENTER:  No purchase or contribution necessary. Twelve winners will be chosen. Entries may be made by making a donation to KCAW Raven Radio and becoming a Sustaining Member by 10 AM February 14th, 2025 online or by phone.  Mail donations must be postmarked by February 10, 2025.

  • No purchase necessary – to enter the drawing by mail, include your full name, complete address with zip code, date of birth, and day/evening phone numbers with area code, and email address on a standard size postcard and mail with the proper postage affixed: KCAW, c/o Development, 2 Lincoln Street, Suite B, Sitka, AK 99835. 

Entries by mail must be postmarked by February 10, 2025 to be entered in the drawing.

  • Entries may also be dropped off at the station, and must include your full name, complete address with zip code, date of birth, and day/evening phone numbers with area code, and email address on a standard size postcard.

ELIGIBILITY: Anyone 21 years of age or older and in the United States can enter the Valentines Day 2025 Giveaway except employees of KCAW, their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Void where prohibited by law.

PRIZE:  12 winners of the drawing will receive the following:

A digital code for registration to a one year subscription to New York Times Games.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER:  Twelve winning names and two back up names for the drawing will be selected by random drawing no later than February 14, 2025. Winner will be sent notification via telephone or email no later than February 18, 2025. If any winner is unable to collect their prize or does not respond to the notification within 7 days, the unawarded prize will go to the first back-up and subsequent back-ups thereof until prize is awarded. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entrants. The winners’ names will be kept on file at KCAW and will be available by calling the station at (907) 747-5877, or by going to the KCAW homepage.

GENERAL: By participating in the Valentines Day 2025 Giveaway, participants agree to these Official Rules, and that KCAW Raven Radio, its agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the giveaway. Prize is nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize. KCAW Raven Radio may use winner names for publicity purposes without further compensation. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the responsibility of the winner. Winner may receive a 1099 with the above stated value in accordance with applicable law.

RESTRICTIONS: Restrictions may apply. Participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of KCAW Raven Radio with respect to the administration of the giveaway and the choice of winner. One entry per person. Multiple entries and not allowed and will not increase the chances of winning.
