Kealoha Harmon, the Community Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters, was joined by Suzan Hess, the Board President of the Greater Sitka Chamber of Commerce, to review plans for this year’s 4th of July parade.
The theme is American Innovation, commemorating the creativity of American inventors. Trish and Dirk White are parade marshalls.
This year’s 4th of July parade will be on Saturday, July 4, 2015 and will start at 2 p.m. Line-up is at 1 p.m. on Lake Street.
The deadline for marchers to register is Thursday, July 2. Registration forms and the $25 fee can be turned in to the Big Brothers Big Sisters office at 201 Katlian St, Suite E. Call Kealoha for more information at 747-3500.
