Prevention Director Julia Smith and Lauren Havens, the school program coordinator for Sitkans Against Family Violence, came in to talk about “Boys Run I toowú klatseen: Strengthen Your Spirit!” The program was designed to bring running and healthy lifestyles to Alaska’s 3rd – 5th grade boys. Boys Run is modeled after the nationally established Girls Run.
