Samuel Kolawole is from Nigeria and in Sitka this month as a writing fellow at the Island Institute. He is also with the international writing program at the University of Iowa. He discusses his involvement in that program, knwon as “the United Nations gathering of writers” and why he wanted to come to Alaska. In Sitka, he’ll be working with students as part of the Island Institute’s Sitka Story Lab Program.
