Raven Radio is hosting four live, call-in shows this week with candidates for school board, mayor, assembly, and a panel discussion on Proposition 1.
Each forum starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m.
Monday, September 19th: School Board candidates Jennifer McNichol and Ed Gray
Tuesday, September 20th: Assembly candidates Kevin Knox, Alexander Allison, Aaron Bean, Evy Kinnear, and Aaron Swanson
Wednesday, September 21st: Mayoral candidates Matthew Hunter, Ben Miyasato, and Mary Magnuson.
Thursday, September 22nd: A discussion with citizens both for and against Proposition 1, which would raise the cap on the mill rate from 6 mills to 8 mills, and Sitka’s financial future.

Municipal elections are Tuesday, October 4th, 2016. Precinct 1 will vote at Grace Harbor Church located at 1904 Halibut Point Road. Precinct 2 will vote at at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church located at 605 Lincoln Street. Polls will be open from 7am to 8pm. Absentee/advanced voting will be available weekdays from 9am to 5pm at City Hall (3rd floor) beginning Monday, September 19th and will continue through Monday, October 3rd.
