Sitka Fine Arts Camp is debuting a local performance of Jason Robert Brown’s musical “The Last Five Years” on Friday, September 22nd.
Performers Rhiannon Guevin and Sam Faustine were joined by pianist Robert Fleitz to talk about the musical’s structure – which tells the story of two loves in opposite directions – and developing chemistry despite rarely interacting as characters. The performance is directed Zeke Blackwell.
The show is Friday, September 22 and Saturday, September 23 at 7 p.m. in the Odess Theater. Fleitz will also be giving a piano recital called “Piano Stories in Rock and Metal” at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 24 at the Sitka Performing Arts Center.
