Sitka AmeriCorps will host a free, family-friendly event at the Sitka Public Library in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 15th. Fifty free children’s books by diverse authors featuring diverse characters will be given away, and attendees can participate in activities and crafts themed around civic engagement and civil rights.
