UAS representatives will focus on how to pursue a postsecondary education. The symposium, which is open to all students and interested community members, will take place from 5:15 to 7 p.m. on February 8th at Kake Elementary & High School. Duncan hopes this outreach event will be the first of many at small communities in Southeast.

Representatives will also host an open session on Friday, February 9th from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Kake Libraryork. They’ll work individually with folks who want to take the next steps, such as placement testing to get into a program or scholarship applications.
