Fireweed Dance Theatre’s annual performance is 7 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Sitka Performing Arts Center. Director Melinda McAdams talks about the show alongside company dancers Ariadne Will and Leah Charlton. They describe the audition process, the intensity of rehearsal following the Nutcracker, and a guest choreographer.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $9 for senior citizens and students from dancers, at Old Harbor Books and the door. A variety of dance styles suitable for all ages will be presented. Those with questions should call Melinda at 966-2557.
