Steve Ramp is one of three full-time vessel examiners with the US Coast Guard in Southeast Alaska. He’ll be in Pelican (May 21-23, sign up in City Hall), Elfin Cove (May 23-25, sign up in the Community Building), Port Alexander (May 19-21, sign up at post office), and Yakutat (May 29-31, sign up at the hardware store) in the coming weeks to perform fishing vessel safety exams and five-star exams for charter boats.
