The Banff Mountain Film Festival returns to Sitka at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 at the Performing Arts Center with films featuring outdoor adventures in exotic locations.

Dawn Johnson and Chrisanne Rice of the film selection committee joined KCAW’s Erin Fulton on today’s Morning Interview.

The Hames Center has hosted the festival since 2012 in benefit to the Hames Wellness Fund which contributes to community projects like Discover Your Potential Week at Blatchley Middle School, after school programs from Youth Advocates of Sitka and scholarships for low-income Hames Center clients.

Tickets are sold out for this event but those interested in attending can expect a wait list at the door of the event.
