Sitkans can continue hunting deer for subsistence through the end of January, as long as they stay on federal lands. Forest Service biologist Ashley Bolwerk joined KCAW’s Erin Fulton to review what hunters need to know about where they can hunt, and how they can get a “designated hunter” permit to hunt on behalf of others.
