Most of us think of the big, green, misunderstood monster from Mary Shelley’s seminal work when we hear the word “Frankenstein.” In Sitka Community Theater’s upcoming production of Danielle Mohlman’s Frankenstein, the focus is on Mary Shelley herself. Bailey Craig, Keith Greinier, and Shannon Haugland joined KCAW’s Erin Fulton to discuss what they call a “heartbreaking and remarkable story of love, womanhood and family.” Listen to the full interview here:

Performances will be Friday, March 29 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 30 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Sitka Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available at Old Harbor Books, fineartscamp.org, and at the door. The performance is recommended for audiences ages 12 and up.
