After dropping out of the running earlier this month, Mary Ann Hall is once again vying for a Sitka Assembly seat.
Mary Ann Hall filed to run for the local office in early August shortly before the filing deadline. A week later, she withdrew her name from consideration. Then Monday afternoon (8-24-26), the city clerk’s office announced that Hall had filed to run again, this time as an official write-in candidate.
She joins three other candidates running for two open assembly seats – they are JJ Carlson, Sherri Blankenship and Darrell Windsor.
Hall declined KCAW’s request for an interview.
Sitka’s municipal election is Tuesday, October 6.
