The city’s municipal administrator finalist mingled with Sitkans Friday night during a meet-and-greet at Harrigan Centennial Hall.
Gerrie Cotter flew up from Ohio earlier in the week to get to know the city a bit better and allow Sitkans to ask questions and learn more about her. Cotter is the only candidate for the city’s top job at this point. A previous finalist, Jenny Alber, withdrew from consideration in July.
The Sitka Assembly plans to discuss next steps at its meeting on Tuesday. The body hopes to hire for the position before current Municipal Administrator John Leach steps down in December.
