Visiting Scientist in Residence Fellow Ries Plescher, a PhD candidate at the University of Oregon Department of Earth Sciences, will be at the Sitka Sound Science Center through November 10. His research looks to understand when and where landslides and debris flows occur in Southeast Alaska.
